grand, ive noticed the same smell during high speed, long boost intervals. i think its the charger heating up alot and its the aluminum smelling or the coating on the outside of the charger itself, it wont hurt anything though, dont worry about it, just dont boost for too long of a period of time.

Tony(MAXPSIGSR) and I have noticed the same smell "INSIDE THE CAR" a metal burning type of smell. But when we pop the hood and check there is no strange smell. This has happened when he and I did the 9psi pulley. The cars both run fine and there is no ill effects. Has anyone else had some strange smells in the cabin? The smell is the same in both cars and we have the exact same setup. Cartech 2025i, 270inj and 9psi pulleys. Is this a sign of burning of the teflon coating of the blower rotors????? Like I said both car do it and there is NO tell tail signs of a problem other than this strange smell. thanks all for the input!!!
